THIS BIRD BELONGS TO THE FAMILY OF THE CHACHALACAS, HOWEVER IT IS A MORE SUPERIOR RELATIVE, WEIGHTING AN APPROXIMATE OF 9 POUNDS, WITH A BROWN COLOR AND A RED THROAT.

IT IS EXTREMELY TERRITORIAL, AND IT IS RARELY SEEN ON THE GROUND. ITS MEAT IS OF A BROWN COLOR AND ALSO VALUED BY HUNTERS.

IN OUR OPINION, IT IS THE ONLY BIRD SPECIES WHERE THE FEMALE IS MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN THE MALE, ITS MEAT IS WHITE AND OF AN EXQUISITE FLAVOUR.
