THIS WHITE TAIL DEER IS CONSIDERED TO BE A TROPICAL SUB-SPECIES, WITH SMALL BASKET-SHAPED HORNS. MALES CAN WEIGH UP TO 165 POUNDS AND THESE ARE VERY SIMILAR IN COLOR TO THEIR BROTHERS IN THE NORTH.

IN RECENT TIMES, THIS DEER HAS BEEN VERY SEEKED BY HUNTERS, SINCE IT COMPLETES THE GRAND SLAM OF NORTH AMERICAN DEER.
